  • Beschrijving: Margarita (Aliki Vougiouklaki) is a kind-hearted young woman who works at a funfair. She falls in love with a wealthy heart surgeon, Alekos (Dimitris Papamichail), who pretends to be a worker. Their love is strong, but there are many setbacks. His father does not approve of this relationship and asks Margarita to leave him. She is forced to do so, and Alekos starts drinking. She decides to follow a couple of friends to Nauplion, where they are to give performances. When Alekos discovers the truth, he goes to Nauplion and finds her singing on stage. Margarita is moved by his love but suffers from heart arrhythmia. Alekos saves her life, and then they get married.
